Ceilidh (‘Kay-lee’)

Owner and Founder of CMC Therapy

I understand the weight that many men carry the kind that’s often unspoken. Some of the strongest individuals are also the most silent when it comes to their own emotional pain.

12+ Years of Clinical & Academic Dedication

Military & First Responders

Deeply connected to the military community in Canada & overseas.

Global Perspective & Transitions

First hand insights on deployments, strain, and family life.

Trauma & Suppressed Emotions

Unpacking anger, triggers, and complex life experiences.

Real World Directness

Practical strategies, evidence based therapy without clinical jargon

With over 12 years of academic and professional experience in psychology, and a career deeply connected to the military community, Ceilidh has worked alongside service members, veterans, and first responders, both in Canada and overseas.

Whether it’s from the battlefield, the pressures of a high stakes job, or the echoes of early life experiences, she recognises how trauma, suppressed emotions, and unresolved anger can shape how you show up in your relationships, your parenting, and your sense of self. Having lived and worked in multiple countries, she brings a global perspective, cultural sensitivity, and first hand understanding of the unique challenges that come with deployments, constant transitions, and family life under strain.

When Change Becomes Necessary

Men are often taught to bury their feelings, stay in control, and push forward no matter the cost. But when that cost begins to show strained relationships, distance from your kids, irritability, or a constant sense of unease change becomes a necessity, not an option.

That’s where we begin.

The Mission Behind CMC Therapy

My mission is to support the heroes who’ve spent years putting their own needs aside to protect others. By combining evidence based therapy with a grounded, real world approach, I offer a safe, confidential space for men to talk openly, explore their emotions, and map out their triggers.

With empathy, directness, and respect, we will make sense of how past experiences are affecting you today working together to build resilience, reconnect with what matters, and move forward with clear purpose.
